We are now looking for the following types of art for the first few issues….
Writers, Poets, Painters, Illustrators, Graphics, Sculptors, Mixed Media … and what else? If we do not have your art listed please specify it in your message below.

When sending files please make sure they are one of the following formats: PDF, JPG, TIFF, EPS, RTF. (for the creative graphic designers out there please make sure to outline all fonts in your vector applications)

• If you are an artist please write up a BIO about yourself. Include anything you want to reference, such as your own website. You can also include some descriptions of the work you are showing, how you did it, what materials were used, when it was made. • If you are submitting written work, such as poem or short story, please also include a Bio as above. You can discuss anything about the work, such as mood when it was created, time period etc.
• If you have the ability to include some creative direction for how you would like your work to be displayed, please do! The more info I have the better, and I want you to shine in the best way possible!
• Each artist may have 2-3 pages available to showcase their art. So please do not be disappointed if I cannot include all 50 images you send. You can have spots in future issues!
• When choosing what to send, if sending multiple items, consider a theme. Try to send art that has a consistent look and feel. If you are like me and have several different styles and techniques, save the different ones for a different issue. Your work will present better when it has a common theme.
• Please Keep it Clean! We will not publish anything that is “hate” related or vulgar. We reserve the right to censor what goes into ABSORB and want to appeal to as much of an audience as we can. With that said, we will not change your work, we will give you the option to edit your content and resubmit it.
• As a contributor to the mag you will have the opportunity to proof the final art before it goes to print. Please heed the deadlines as I will be handling may submissions and want to make sure this gets done in a timely manner.
