Well – we are about 99.999% of the way there. I am actually waiting for the last copy to arrive in my mail box for final proofing. As soon as I make any last minute final tweaks I will be shipping it out to everyone who has already pre-ordered.
BTW – if I could give everyone who pre-ordered a great big hug – I would! It really meant a lot to see the orders come in as I was still putting in late hours in front of the computer and dreaming about the magazine every night. (who says I am still not doing that?!!)

Some of you might wonder why I am not featured in the 1st issue. Truth be told, I wanted to be. The reality was that I was getting so many submissions for VOL 1 that the magazine got longer and longer. To keep it at a reasonable price, I needed to cut off the submissions but, I still had a lot of art to fit in. To remedy the dilemma, I decided that VOL 2 will feature some of my art. I would also like to allow the reader to ask me questions about anything… my art, the magazine, my life…….. send your inquiries to editor@absorbfineart, and if it is a good question I may answer it in VOL 2!
